I’m a bit conflicted tonight.  Tonight is the season premier of The Bachelorette and the season finale of Hawaii Five-0 will be playing at the same time tonight.  Which do I choose to watch in real time????

Congrats to My Tom

My Tom—No, that is not how I refer to Tom Cruise.  It’s Tom Fletcher of McFly.   I want to send over a big  ole’ Congratulations to him.  Over the weekend he got married to his longtime sweetheart, Giovanna Falcone.

I have been a fan of his (and McFly) for a long time.   Unfortunately, there are no pics of the beautiful bride floating around the web yet.  According to one article I read, it is to protect a magazine deal.

Let’s Move

 

Tears of excitement filled my eyes on last night's episode of Hawaii Five 0 when McGarrett said “let’s move”. Wasn’t last night’s episode awesome?!  I missed McGarrett so much, and he came back in pure McGarrett style (i.e. landing a plane, capturing & fighting with Wo Fat, flying a helicopter)!  And of course, as Danno noted, all while wearing CARGO PANTS!

While McGarrett was away, I think his partner Danno (Scott Caan) did a great job of holding everything down.  So let’s celebrate that with some Danno pics, shall we:

The Bachelorette 2012

Have y’all been seeing the promos for The Bachelorette withEmily Maynard?  It all starts Monday, May 14.  I am super excited about this season.  The past few seasons have been a total bore, but I have a feeling that this season will pick back up again. 

This season, they will not be filming in their famous Bachelor Pad, instead they will be filming in North Carolina (I think).  They are taking it closer to where Emily lives, so she can carry on a regular life with her daughter while filming.  At least as regular, as possible, in Bachelor(ette)land (lol.)  So, I am anxious to see what the new mansion will look like.  I’m also excited to see what they will do for their dates; I’m hoping the dates may have more of a southern theme.

Is anyone else mourning the last episode of GCB? I was like a lot of people on twitter last night and was shocked and disappointed that last night was the season finale. (Do you watch live tweet during episodes?)

I was also a little shocked over how it ended last night with Amanda.  Amanda is not really my favorite character, but I am anxious to see what the writers will do with Amanda and Pastor Tudor. I thought the whole thing with her dating that great guy (Carlene’s brother, can’t remember his name) was just too perfect.  I’m glad they are shaking it up a bit.  I hope they start dating, because I am sure the rest of the gals will flip-out.

I don’t know how I will fulfill my GCB fix till they come back for the second season.  And praise the Lord, I have faith and believe that they will be back for a second season (I think that is what Carlene would say, lol) . I heard saw some internet buz awhile back that Delta Burke is currently filming a new tv show.   So, today I decided to do a little searching.  According to IMDb, the tv show is called Counter Culture.   This is what is says for the storyline:

 Centers on three aging sisters who run their West Texas family diner together with sibling dynamics always getting in the way. 

It also has Doris Roberts as part of the cast list.  Doesn't that seem like such a great show?  I've always loved Delta Burke, and I am so excited for her to return to tv.  I just think she is just so fabulous! I hope this tv show becomes a long running show.
